Psalms 128:1 Blessed is every one that fears the LORD; that walks in his ways.
Psalms 128:2 For you shall eat the labor of your hands: happy shall you be, and it shall be well
with you.
Psalms 128:3 Your wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of your house: your children like
olive plants round about your table.
Psalms 128:4 Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that fears the LORD.
Psalms 128:5 The LORD shall bless you out of Zion: and you shall see the good of Jerusalem
all the days of your life.
Psalms 128:6 Yes, you shall see your children’s children, and peace on Israel.
# The HOME is the seat of divine government on earth.
# The home is where God establishes His COVENANT with man. Gen 18:19
# The HOME is the grooming ground for great destinies who rule the world and influence the
society at large. Psa 127:
This HOME God has placed in the hands of FATHERS & MOTHERS with the FATHER as the
head.

18. WIVES, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
19. HUSBANDS, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them.
20. CHILDREN, obey your parents in all things, for this is well pleasing to the Lord.
21 FATHERS, do not provoke your children, lest they become discouraged.
22 BONDSERVANTS, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with
eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God.
23. And whatever you do, do it heartily, as TO THE LORD and not to men,
24. knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the INHERITANCE; for you serve
the Lord Christ.
CHARACTERISTICS OF A GODLY AND HEALTHY HOME:
#1. UNCONDITIONAL LOVE
It is a home built on love, truth and the perfect will of God. Colossians 3:18-21
# 2. LORDSHIP OF JESUS CHRIST WITH A LIVING ALTAR
It is where Jesus Christ is the Lord, being served and worshipped in spirit and in truth. (John 4:
23).

A place of consecration .. Bethel..
A place of confrontation..13:18….. Hebron
# 3. FAITHFUL HUSBAND AND DAD
It is where the husband is loving, kind, compassionate and faithful to his wife and children. (1Pet
3: 7).
# 4. VIRTUOUS WIFE AND MUM
It is where the wife is devoted, loving, faithful and submissive to her husband. (1Pet 3: 1-6).
# 5. NEXT GENERATION KINGDOM STARS
It is where children are brought up in the fear and admonition of the Lord. (Eph 6: 1-4).
# 6. GODLINESS IS MODELLED
It is where the couple is united in love and is ready to make the home a haven of peace on
earth. (1Pet 3: 8-11)
# 7. COMMITMENT IS HIGHER THAN CIRCUMSTANCES
It is a godly and healthy home built on love that will not give up on the other in spite of
disappointment, hurts, mistakes and failures.
1 Corinthians 13:7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
